Dwayne Borgstrand is a Wyoming and Montana licensed chiropractic physician and acupuncturist. He is the only chiropractic physician in Wyoming who is also a Wyoming licensed acupuncturist. He is also licensed in acupuncture by the states of Montana and Colorado.
Dr. Borgstrand is originally from Des Moines, IA. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Westmar College, LeMars, IA.He is a graduate of Northwestern Health Sciences University, Bloomington, MN, and the International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture, Carefree, AZ. He received training at the the Institute of Traditional & Western Medicine at Shanghai Medical University, the Taoist Sanctuary of San Diego, and the Rocky Mountain Herbal Institute, Hot Springs, MT. He is board-certified in acupuncture by the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is certified in acupuncture by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE).He is board-certified in chiropractic orthopedics by the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists (ABCO).
Dr. Borgstrand’s emphasis is diagnosis, acupuncture, chiropractic, and Chinese physiotherapy. He practiced in Red Lodge for 21 years before coming to Cody in 2002. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and the Wyoming Acupuncture Society.
Lilo Klaehn (pronounced leelo clain) is a registered nurse. Originally from Hannover, Germany, she is a graduate of Minneapolis Community College, Alfred University, Alfred, NY, and Concordia Theological Seminary (Seminex), St. Louis, MO. She completed clinical pastoral education at Mercy Medical Center, Des Moines, IA. She received training at the International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture, Carefree, AZ, the Rocky Mountain Herbal Institute, Hot Springs, MT, the Internationale-Gesellschaft fuer Homotoxikologie, Baden-Baden, Germany, and the Institute of Traditional & Western Medicine at Shanghai Medical University.
Under Dr. Borgstrand’s supervision, Lilo’s emphasis is Chinese herbology, homeopathy, therapeutic exercise, and nutrition/lifestyle counseling.
