YOUR FIRST VISIT

On your first visit to the Borgstrand Clinic we do a thorough history and examination. We take time to really listen to you about your health problem, followed by a careful examination.  We do many tests to find the cause of your problem. This may include traditional Chinese diagnostic procedures (tongue, pulse, hara, Kirlian photo), as well as the more familiar Western physical exam. X-rays and lab tests may be done.

After Dr. Borgstrand and Lilo go over your results, you receive an explanation of our diagnosis and proposed treatment plan in plain English. Dr. Borgstrand will always recommend what his training and experience tells him is best. But you always have a choice. You may choose:

1. an Eastern approach: using acupuncture and/or Chinese physiotherapy and herbology,

2. a Western approach: using chiropractic, homeopathy and/or Western physiotherapy, or

3. a combination of Western and Eastern approaches.

To allow for thoroughness, permit about 90 minutes for your first visit for the diagnostic workup and treatment. Subsequent treatment visits take from 10 to 60 minutes.

Our "low tech" approach means affordable fees. Since Dr. Borgstrand is a Wyoming licensed chiropractor, most insurances will reimburse you for our services including acupuncture. We accept all major credit cards. We also offer no interest payment plans.
